This class is for anyone who wants to learn to paint intuitively, without having to worry about “getting it right”. There is no external reference to draw or paint, all of your painting will be inspired from within you and your experiences, passions, memories and imagination.

We will first learn to create a watercolor background that gives your painting depth and interest. On this background, you will then tap into your own intuitive creativity and make shapes, forms, visual textures and patterns using acrylic gouache paint, acrylic paint markers and gel pens.

There is no such thing as “getting it wrong”, your piece will reflect your unique mark-making in that moment. For anyone who feels “stuck, blocked or a little scared to make a mark”, I provide sample marks, shapes, forms and patterns to get you started! This is a fun, relaxing and even meditative class!
