“Dogwood Daze” is inspired by the dogwood trees that grew at the edge of our sidewalk at my childhood home in Philly. I loved when they bloomed and then rained down pink and white petals on the ground below. I think I even remember that the Dogwood trees were “safe” in the game of Tag that we played with all the neighborhood kids. My old Dogwood Days!
