“Magic In The Mud” is inspired by a very muddied, dark and uninteresting background that seemed impossible to dance with intuitively. So I just imagined that there were living things that could even grow in mud. I learned that sometimes the beauty within something, or even someone, isn’t immediately obvious…sometimes it takes some patience and some coaxing within myself to finally see it.
